This is not the time to be spontaneous. While you don’t need to have a whole speech memorized, knowing your talking points will eliminate the stress of thinking about what to say next.

Let Yourself Make Mistakes

You don’t have to be perfect. If you make a mistake, keep going—it can be edited out. And if you forget to mention something, you can always add a voiceover afterward.

Get Comfortable

Find ways to make yourself more relaxed. For example, ditch the stiff business attire for one of your favorite outfits. Not only will you feel more comfortable, but it will show off your personality. Also, there is no rule that you must stand in front of the camera. If you’d feel better presenting while sitting, pull up a chair.

And remember to have fun. The more you enjoy what you are doing, the easier it will be.
